Research

Before I ran Customer Success teams I was a researcher in modeling and simulation. The habit of building a model before forming an opinion comes from this work.

Background

I received my Ph.D. in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering, with a concentration in modeling and simulation, from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, in 2011. My research covered agent-based and discrete-event simulation, intelligent transportation systems and cooperative adaptive cruise control. I later taught graduate courses in discrete-event simulation and in data and information management as an adjunct professor at Southern New Hampshire University.
