Daily privacy policy

Last updated: November 8, 2026

This explains what Daily collects, what stays on your phone, and how to contact me about your data.

What stays on your phone

Your profile (name, age, height, weight, allergies and goals), mood check-ins, sleep and mindfulness entries, and your food log are stored on your device. I do not receive or store these on a server.

Step counts are read from Apple Health on your device, only with your permission. They are not sent to any server.

Your name and email from Sign in with Apple are kept only in your device's secure storage.

What is sent to our servers

When you use AI meal logging, the meal text or photo you submit is sent to a secure backend (hosted by Supabase in the EU) and then to Anthropic's API, which analyses it and returns a nutrition estimate. The estimate is returned to your phone.

Your Apple user ID is sent with each AI request so that the daily usage limit can be enforced. The server stores a per-day count of AI requests for that ID.

Meal photos and text are not used for advertising or tracking, and are not used by Daily to train AI models.

What Daily does not do

Daily does not use advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all Daily data inside the app: open Profile and tap Delete Account. This removes the data stored on your phone and your server-side AI usage record.

If you cannot use the app, you can also request deletion by email at George Arnaout <george@atlaspeopleconsulting.com> from the address you signed in with, or include your Apple user ID if you have it.

Children

Daily is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, I will update the date above and, for material changes, note it in the app.
